Whatsoever Things Are Beautiful

Let the lifting  up of my hands be an evening sacrifice. - Ps 141

O Heavenly King, the Comforter, the Spirit of truth, You are everywhere present and fillest all things. Treasury of blessings and Giver of LIFE: come and abide in us, and cleanse us from every impurity, and save our souls, O Good One!

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
For Thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory (+) of the Father,  (+) and of the Son, (+) and of the Holy Spirit now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy great mercy; and according to the multitude of thy compassions blot out my transgression.
Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
For I am conscious of mine iniquity; and my sin is continually before me.
Against thee only have I sinned, and done evil before thee: that thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
For, behold, I was conceived in iniquities, and in sins did my mother conceive me.
For, behold, thou lovest truth: thou hast manifested to me the secret and hidden things of thy wisdom.
Thou shalt sprinkle me with hyssop, and I shall be purified: thou shalt wash me, and I shall be made whiter than snow.
Thou shalt cause me to hear gladness and joy: the afflicted bones shall rejoice.
Turn away thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit in my inward parts.
Cast me not away from thy presence; and remove not thy holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of thy salvation: establish me with thy directing Spirit.
Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and ungodly men shall turn to thee.
Deliver me from blood-guiltiness, O God, the God of my salvation: and my tongue shall joyfully declare thy righteousness.
O Lord, thou shalt open my lips; and my mouth shall declare thy praise.
For if thou desiredst sacrifice, I would have given it: thou wilt not take pleasure in whole-burnt-offerings.
Sacrifice to God is a broken spirit: a broken and humbled heart God will not despise.
Do good, O Lord, to Sion in thy good pleasure; and let the walls of Jerusalem be built.
Then shalt thou be pleased with a sacrifice of righteousness, offering, and whole-burnt-sacrifices: then shall they offer calves upon thine altar.

Unto thee who dwellest in heaven have I lifted up mine eyes.
Behold, as the eyes of servants are directed to the hands of their masters, and as the eyes of a maidservant to the hands of her mistress; so our eyes are directed to the Lord our God, until he have mercy upon us.
Have pity upon us, O Lord, have pity upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.
Yea, our soul has been exceedingly filled with it: let the reproach be to them that are at ease, and contempt to the proud.

O Lord, I have cried to thee; hear me: attend to the voice of my supplication, when I cry to thee.
Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; the lifting up of my hands as an evening sacrifice.

Prayer Concerning The Three Paths of Theology/Spirituality

Our Heavenly Father,
Let us not be caught in the fear of servile religion; keeping Tradition out of ignorance and offering our correctness as a sign of righteous enlightenment.

Let us not be caught in the tyranny of our rational minds, which creates innovations upon the faith, which leads us to hold prideful theologies that diminish God to the level of our understanding, or worse, which deny Him altogether.

Let us not be caught by the tyranny of our emotions, mistaken our soul's phantasy producing powers for the working of the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of LIFE.

Let us not be caught in the mere form of the visible church, but in the LIFE of it, who is Jesus Christ, the Living Word of God, present to all that truly seek Him.

Let our keeping of Tradition spring from the warmth of Your Love, from a heart that seeks continual repentance, from a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart you will not despise. Amen.

End Time Hysteria and Tormenting Fear

I try my best not to engage in end time hysteria. The end time for me is the absence of my next heartbeat. I'm very critical of a segment of Christianity that seems to focus on the end time to the exclusion of doing the work and living life in the present. They create a sense of dread whose author IS NOT God. I do not know how reasonably they can reconcile that fear mongering with, Jesus' command to, in faith, place our well being in his hands: "Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." That seems pretty clear to me.

Many foolishly confuse the fear of God - which is sacred reverence and respect, even frightful awe, and common fear which is tormenting and antithetical to Faith. They seem to believe that Christians should live in fear of things to come. Whether they actually preach this or not, it becomes the natural implication and practice of those constantly rehearsing the "terrible times to come." Such fear mongering is by the spirit of The Evil One. Scripture clearly states that "fear hath torment." "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us." 1Jn 4:18 ff. Tormenting dread is the opposite of Faith and Love.

Some who rehearse the terrible times to come grow so weak in faith that the very Church itself, the Church militant, which is composed of sinful and imperfect people, begins to look totally evil to them. Every failure of every member is a witness to them, in their fearful paranoia, of the anti-christ. They cannot understand why the Church militant does not already look like the Church Triumphant. They do not grasp the difference between those being delivered from sin and growing in spiritual perfection, and those made perfect and Glorified around God's Throne.

Five people in the last two days have mis-quoted to me the scripture concerning the confounding of the very-elect of God saying, "even the elect will be fooled."  It takes spiritual error and pessimism to entertain that idea. It IS NOT so; scripture does NOT say it. "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."

I don't know about you, but hardly a day goes by that I don't meet an anti-christ or see one preaching lies on T.V.  To assume that the elect may be confounded makes a lie of Jesus' statement concerning the Church, "and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

Saint Patrick's Morning Prayer

We bind unto ourselves today the strong Name of the Trinity, by the invocation of the same, In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, the Three in One, the One in Three.
We bind unto ourselves this day forever, by power of faith, Christ's incarnation; His baptism in the Jordan River; His death on cross for our salvation; His bursting from the spiced tomb; His riding up the heavenly way; His coming on the day of doom; We Bind unto ourselves today.
We bind unto ourselves the power of the great love of the Cherubim; the sweet "Well done" in judgement hour; the service of the Seraphim, Confessors' faith, Apostles' words, the Patriarchs' prayers, the Prophets' scrolls; all good deed done unto the Lord, and purity of simple souls.
We bind unto ourselves today the virtues of the starlit heaven, the glorious sun's life-giving ray, the whiteness of the moon at even, the flashing of the lightning free, the whirling wind's tempestuous shocks, the stable earth, the deep salt sea, around the old eternal rocks.
We bind unto ourselves today the power of God to hold and lead, his eye to watch, his might to stay, his ear to hearken to our need. The wisdom of our God to teach, his hand to guide, his shield to ward; the Word of God to give us speech, his heavenly host to be our guard. Against the demon snares of sin, the vice that gives temptation force, the natural lusts that war within, the hostile ones that mar our course; or few or many, far or nigh, in every place, and in all hours, against their fierce hostility, We bind to ourselves these holy powers.
Against all Satan's spells and wiles, against false words of heresy, against the knowledge that defiles, against the heart's idolatry, against the wizard's evil craft, against the death wound and the burning, the choking wave and poisoned shaft, protect us Christ till your returning.
Christ be with me, Christ within me, Christ behind me, Christ before me, Christ beside me, Christ to win me, Christ to comfort and restore me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ in quiet, Christ in danger, Christ in hearts of all the love me, Christ in mouth of friend and stranger.
We bind unto ourselves the Name, the strong Name of the Trinity; by invocation of the same: In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, The Three in One, and One in Three, of whom all nature has creation: Eternal Father, Spirit, Word, praise to the Lord of our salvation, salvation is of Christ the Lord. Amen

Our Heavenly Father please let the wisdom and strength of this, Saint Patrick's prayer be the heart of all who wish to heal our country, especially those in authority and those seeking the offices of authority. - Amen.

The Roots Of Our Pagan Culture

Thinking about Dr. Michael Youssef's short talk about the quest for and defense of Truth, I awoke an hour ago and watched a portion of a program supposedly about early Christianity on "Planet Green." Of course what would Planet Green's agenda be but an attack seeking to discredit the healing reality held in the Apostolic Tradition carefully guarded by Orthodox Christianity from the time of the Apostles. This particular show, as a hundred others I've watched over the last 30 years, glorified the Gnostics and made villains of the Church, using every propaganda ploy in the playbook. No wonder the so-called "Emerging Church" with its gnostic roots is the present fad challenging evangelical truths and shaking the base of the evangelical movement as it dismisses the physical reality of The Church.  Sadly too many protestants dedicated to "radical individual spirituality" are easy prey for these wolves in sheep's clothing. In the last few months I've met quite a few on FB, deluded by their heresy, people who do not have the slightest knowledge of the vocations of spiritual authority, whose personal "religions" (and they are not just plural but legion) are nothing more than spiritual rebellion posing as enlightenment. Satan has no better success against those who would seek God, than to teach them theology designed for their individual weaknesses, separating each into an individual assembly consisting of a single deluded ego. Want to know why the "Christians" in America have created a pagan society?  I've just explained it.

Traditions Of Men vs. The Apostolic Tradition

The Holy Eucharist IS The Central Focus of True Christian Worship

Fifteen years ago as our culture was sinking into the abyss, Gallup did a survey that claimed that eighty-three percent of Americans claimed to be Christian. I said, "Something has become very wrong with a Christianity that overpowers a culture in numbers of better than 4 to 1, yet produces the culture we see around us. I opined that if one added the population of Jews who make up the proponents of our Judeo/Christian culture the number claiming Judeo/Christian heritage would number nearly nine out of ten! Yet, any quick look at the pagan based culture would show that it really didn't reflect Judeo/Christian values. Something else was in control of the collective "mindset" of the culture, where death was increasing and vice becoming the norm.

I think that a great portion of the emptiness of American Christianity is the fact that it has grown so far removed from its apostolic roots and that so many who think they have recaptured those apostolic roots, simply have not. At the time of the Reformation, in rightly rejecting the abuses of the Roman Catholic Church,   some rejected the Church itself, so disavowing the "Traditions of Men" they also disavowed the "Traditions of the Apostles." And bluntly put, without the Traditions of the Apostles there is no Christianity. There are religions clinging to the name Christian which hold partly, or sadly by now, which hold none of the Light of the True Gospel, held sacred and unchanged by the Apostles' Tradition.

Scripture clearly teaches that there are, "Traditions of Men" which violate the commandment of God. Jesus said so himself.   When the religious leaders questioned him saying, "Why do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread." Jesus answered saying, "Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition?"- Matt 15: 2-3.  And on another occasion Jesus said, "All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition."- Mark 7:9.   And the Apostle Paul punched the point home saying, "Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ."-Col 2:8.  We have Jesus and the Apostles cautioning about being fooled by "the traditions of men." And the successors to the Apostles, the first Bishops of the Church carried on the warning:

Saint Irenaeus wrote (Ante-Nicene Fathers Vol 1. pg 475) - The tradition of the elders, which they pretend to observe from the Law, was contrary to the Law given by Moses.  For that reason, Isaiah also declares: "Your dealers mix wine with water," showing that the elders were in the habit of mingling a watered tradition with the simple command of God.  That is, they set up a spurious Law, one contrary to the true Law.  The Lord also made this plain when He said to them, "Why do you transgress the commandments of God for the sake of your tradition?"

Saint Clement of Alexandria (Ante-Nicene Fathers Vol 2 pg 494) The Pharisees rebelled from the Law by introducing human teachings.

Saint Cyprian carried on the understanding saying, (Ante-Nicene Fathers  Vol 5 pg 318) The Lord warns us in His Gospel, saying, "You reject the commandment of God, that you may establish your own tradition." Those who reject the commandment of God and who attempt to keep their own tradition - let them be firmly and courageously rejected by you."  Further he said, (Ante-Nicene Fathers Vol 5 pg 387) What presumption there is to prefer human tradition to divine ordinance!  How can we not see that God is indignant and angry every time a human tradition relaxes the divine commandments and passes them by." Further he said, (Vol 5 pg 389) "Custom without truth is simply the antiquity of error."

Every protestant friend I have is saying, "preach it brother!"  But here comes the part with which some (most)  have difficulty, because they have to greater or lesser degrees become unstuck from the foundational Apostolic Tradition. (According to their particular protestant "tradition of man.")

"Now I praise you, brethren, that you remember me in all things and keep the traditions as I delivered them to you." The Apostle, Saint Paul I Cor. 11:2

"The thing which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you." St Paul, Phil 4:9.

"Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistles."  - 2 Thess 2:15

"But we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw form every brother who walks disorderly and not according to the tradition which he received from us." 2 Thess 3:6.

"The things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also."  2 Tim 2:2

The Apostolic Tradition wasn't just words on paper, but the very form in which Christians were to worship God was passed from generation to generation in the witness of ACTIONS.

If, then, anyone who had attended on the elders came, I asked minutely after their sayings.  I asked what Andrew or Peter said, or what was said by Philip, Thomas, James, John, Matthew, or any other of the Lord's disciples - things which Aristion and presbyter John, the disciples of the Lord, say. I concluded that what was to be got from books was not so profitable to me as what came from the living and abiding voice. - Papias (120 AD - as quoted by Eusebius - Ante-Nicene Fathers Vol 1 pg 153.)
In this we see that the Apostolic Tradition was living, and not just written. After all the writings of the Apostles at this time were not universally available. It was two centuries BEFORE the first "New Testament" was compiled. History and archeology confirm that even though few of the churches held all of the texts that would later become the New Testament, they held the same Faith, through the Tradition of the Apostles of which the "writings" were a part.

For although the languages of the world are different, yet the import of the tradition is one and the same.  For the churches which have been planted in Germany do not believe or hand down anything different, nor do those in Spain, nor those in Gaul.  - Saint Irenaeus (180 AD - Ante-Nicene Fathers vol 1 pg 330-331)
Still, although it was sixty years later, the writings of the Apostles were not universally available and it was a century and a half before the first New Testament was compiled.

Nor, on the other hand, will he who is deficient in power of expression inflict injury on the tradition. For the faith is ever one and the same.  Accordingly, neither does he who is able at great length to discourse regarding it, make any addition to it. Nor does one who can say but little, diminish it.  - Saint Irenaeus (Ante-Nicene Fathers Vol 1 ps 331).
This is a wonderful statement!

When, however, they (the Gnostics) are confuted from the Scriptures, they turn around and accuse these same Scriptures as if they were not correct . . . But, again, when we refer them to that tradition which originates from the apostles, which is preserved by means of the successions of presbyters in the churches, they object to tradition, saying that they themselves are wiser not merely than the presbyters, but even than the apostles. - Irenaeus ( A. N. Fathers - Vol 1 pg 415.)
So we see that the Truth of the Gospel held against error is held by two means. (1) The Scriptures and (2) The Apostolic Tradition.   This is why I say that so many are contaminated with Gnosticism today, interpreting the scriptures anyway they choose, without regard to what has been taught consistently from the beginning.

It is within the power of all, therefore, in every church, who may wish to see the truth, to contemplate clearly the tradition of the apostles manifested throughout the whole world. And we are in a position to reckon up those who were by the apostles instituted bishops in the churches, and the succession of these men to our own time . . . For if the apostles had known hidden mysteries, . . . they would have delivered them especially to those to whom they themselves were also committing the churches. - Saint Irenaeus - A.N. Fathers - Vol 1 pg 415.
This is in answer to those "spiritualists" who claimed to have secret knowledge of God's revelation, NOT held by the Apostolic Tradition of the Church. Today the same prideful spirit exists in the world that attacks the Church and claims greater 'spiritual knowledge.'

I will end here, except to say that I have pages upon pages of the earliest Fathers of the Church protecting and defending the Apostolic Teachings, held both in written form and in the Tradition of the churches' prayers,  practices and worship, that is baptism, the Eucharist - the Divine Liturgy, the Mass and other actions.   I have a special place in my heart for Saint Hippolytus. Modern archeology has proved his writings more ancient than previously thought and represent both the liturgical form of the Church's worship, and the clear light of the Apostolic Tradition. He wrote, "Dear brethren, let us believe according to the tradition of the apostles." (N.N. Fathers vol 5 pg 230)

Caius, whose clear sight and teaching cautioned and correct Saint Hippolytus when the latter began to interpret the book of Revelations literally, (as so many in error do today) said, "They have boldly falsified the sacred Scriptures, rejected the canons of the ancient faith, and ignored Christ." - (Eusebius, quoting Caius 215AD - A.N. Fathers vol 5 pg 602.) - Today many charlatans make fortunes fear mongering about the end-times. Make no mistake, they too, boldly falsify the sacred scriptures, reject the canons of the ancient faith and ignore Christ.

When I was ordained, I took an oath that said, "Whatsoever things were accepted and taught by the Apostles and the Holy Fathers, I will accept and teach. Whatsoever things were rejected by the Apostles and the Holy Fathers, I too reject."  It is a simple premise. I don't have to opine, I may say, "The Church Teaches" and she truly does and truly has consistently for 2000 years!  "Know that we do not depart from the traditions of the Gospel and of the apostles. Rather with constancy and firmness we maintain the discipline of the church." Saint Cyprian (A.N. Fathers, vol 5 pg 357).

I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of Heaven and earth and of all things visible and invisible;
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Only-begotten
Begotten of the Father before all worlds, Light of Light, Very God of Very God, Begotten, not made; of one essence with the Father, by Whom all things were made:
Who for us men and for our salvation came down from Heaven, and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, and was made man;
And was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered and was buried;
And ascended into Heaven, and sits at the right hand of the Father;
And He shall come again with glory to judge the living and the dead, Whose Kingdom shall have no end.
And I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, and Giver of Life, Who proceeds from the Father, Who with the (+) Father and the Son together is worshiped and glorified, Who spoke by the prophets;
And I believe in One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church.
I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins.
I look for the resurrection of the dead,
And the life of the world to come.  Amen.

In simple fact IF any part of the preceding statement is not held by one, ones Christianity is malformed, broken and lacking complete healing grace. Our Christian Faith comes to us through the Scriptures, The Gospel of Christ and the Apostolic Tradition - none can be separated from the other and are all inter-dependent. When any of the three are missing or impaired, the fullness of the Faith is missing or impaired also.

Since Satan is cunning, it should not be a mystery why some reject not just the fullness of The Way, but those who cling to it.

A Prayer For Our Nation.

Heavenly Father, your written revelation records many times in history where you softened the hearts of the enemies of your people, or threw them into mental confusion and insanity when they would not give up their plots for the destruction or enslavement of Your people. Lord, America is not your nation, and Americans are not your people. This nation has turned its back on You. And just like in ancient days, a righteous remnant remains salting this culture. Those who Call upon your Son, Jesus Christ as God, are the righteous of this nation, covered not in their own goodness, but in the Goodness of Your Son, through his sacrifice upon the Blessed and Sacred Cross. Lord hold our eyes to The Cross and spare this nation in Liberty, so that the Word may be preached in freedom, so that darkness may be pushed back, so that evil and the culture of death may be openly confronted, confounded, confused and ultimately conquered.  We ask that you confuse the minds of those hell bent upon enslaving us through Political Correctness/Sharia Compliant Secular Humanism and oppressive or violent police tactics. Where you will Lord, soften hearts and allow them to hear the Gospel of Life and Hope, and where those refuse, hold them harmless but confused.

Lord I pray for our Pharaoh, Barrack Obama, that you would challenge him to awaken to YOU. Replace his spirit of cunning, with an honorable spirit of Wisdom. Replace his childhood muslim mythology with the revelation of YOU, so that he may come to know YOU and give up the false gods. Lord I pray that the eyes of his heart may see LIGHT, and so come to distinguish between Light and Darkness. Like Constantine before him, sear the imagination of his heart with a Flaming Cross. Make it the image he sees when he closes his eyes and tries to rest. Make knowledge of You pleasant to him O Lord so that we may live in peace, and Liberty. I ask in the Precious and Hallowed Name of the only Liberty Granting, Non-Enslaving, LIFE Engendering, Living God of History, Our Blessed Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Catholic Institutions Under Attack By The Sharia Compliant Progressivists.

Thought: A great portion of the assault on freedom in America (and Europe) is the false notion that central planning is the key to any problem. It causes layers upon layers of bureaucratic experts who then stand between resources and need. The Catholic Church - the second largest institutional system in the U.S. (second only to the Federal government) isn't devoid the problems of bureaucracy - but has handled its work in specific areas with so much more efficiency than the progressivists of the federal and state systems as to shame them. The "catholic institutions" that are under direct attack by the Fed . . Catholic Adoption services, hospitals, clinics etc are a model of "humanitarian" action. So here is the thought:

If one is concerned with bringing "compassion" and common sense reason back to the local level, so that people will help themselves and one another intelligently, with caring and on the level of individual human concerns, one has to see through the mythology that the centralized system has the answers. Compassion on the local or better human to human level is a foundational conservative principle. However, there are a lot of hate filled people, conditioned by the educational system and pop culture, who call themselves conservative or libertarian or constitutionalist who do not know the Traditions of "humanitarianism" upon which the U.S. was formed and only know the new substitute, "humanism," which is at its core heartless. True conservatism IS humanitarian, it cares for each individual as an individual. False conservatism thinks of people in competing classes and believes solutions are "political" and not "moral." Humanism creates political solutions based upon spurious values, values of recent invention devoid of the knowledge of the psycho-spiritual makeup of the human and create cruelty in their wake. The Christian faith is the most sophisticated repository of knowledge of the human condition present on the planet.  Its actions are intelligently healing with hundreds of millions of "testimonies" around the world. For instance, there is no successful substance abuse program that is not faith based.  The fact is demonstrable that the humanist-based systems most often exacerbate the problems they are designed to solve. They could not exist without an education system turned into a mere propaganda machine. It has become a stronghold of evil and we have to get serious about treating it as the danger it has become.

What God Do We Serve?

What God do we serve? Some invented god of the ancient pagans, Molech or Baal? Some later invented deity of theosophy or gnosticism, some cruel god of the Mohammedans? Some god with a single witness who wrote a magic book to reveal him? The list of such men and books is quite long. No, we serve the Creator of Heaven and Earth, of all things seen and unseen, who took it upon Himself to "condescend" to lower himself to our understanding and reveal himself in history over centuries and millennia, and by countless witnesses. He is witnessed in the history of man; He spoke to us via the prophets who have spoken by His spirit from the beginning. There was never a time he was withdrawn from us! He is the God who by merely thinking out-breathed all of being and created something "existence - being" from nothing, "non-existence and non-being." He is whole, and does not need expression in existence to be whole and complete. It is this awesome power who we cannot truly know in his essence, since we are creatures of being - of creation and he is non-created, ever existing - He is beyond the capacity of human knowledge - but with whom we may, communicate and by the witness of the Psalmist and the Apostles, and our own hearts, befriend. We to not address in our prayer a later human invention, but the very power of The ALL. And the truly amazing thing is He hears, He answers and He cares. The Lord Lives! My Rock, My Fortress, My Shelter. And when we truly stand in unison with Him, He is the one who avenges evil, who subdues our enemies, who heals and saves us from the destroyer's flame. So great a God cannot be shuttered away in some man allowed "right to worship - privately as we choose - as long as we don't offend those who remain in ignorance - as long as we keep our belief locked up - private" We have compartmentalize this mighty force walled Him away in auditoriums and sanctuaries, hidden in the hearts of people grown mute, embarrassed to publicly confess, "I believe on God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth and of all things visible and invisible" . . . The God who holds the universes (plural) in his hand, also holds the fate of our nation in his hand and the fate of my next heartbeat, and your next heartbeat in his hand. It is TIME we broke our silence, released Him from our convenient little private chambers - It is TIME for Him on Main Street, Wall Street, K Street, and Pennsylvania Avenue.- Amen
A Christian "Pictogram" that tells the entire core of Christian Belief.  It depicts the following words.

O Lord, How Lovely It Is To Be Thy Guest.

Breeze full of scents
Mountains reaching to the skies
Waters like boundless mirrors, reflecting the sun's golden rays and the scudding clouds.
All Nature murmurs mysteriously, breathing the depth of tenderness
Birds and beasts of the forest bear the imprint of Thy Love.
Blessed art thou mother earth, in thy fleeting loveliness
Which wakens our yearning for happiness that will last for ever, in the land where amid beauty that grows not old, the cry rings our. - Allelulia!

Glory To Thee For Calling Me Into Being

Glory to Thee for showing me the beauty of the universe
Glory to Thee, spreading out before me heaven and earth
Like the pages in a book of eternal wisdom.
Glory to Thee for Thine eternity in this fleeting world
Glory to Thee for Thy Mercies, seen and unseen.
Glory to Thee for every sigh of my sorrow
Glory to Thee for every step of my life's journey
Glory to Thee for every moment of glory
Glory to Thee, O God, from age to age.

I Was Born A Weak, Defenseless Child

But Thine angel spread his wings over my cradle to defend me.
From birth until now Thy love has illumined my path
And has wondrously guided me toward to the light of eternity;
from birth until now the generous gifts of Thy providence have been marvelously showered upon me
I give Thee thanks, with all who have come to know Thee, who call upon Thy Name.

Everlasting King, Thy Will For Our Salvation Is Full Of Power!

Thy right arm controls the whole course of human life.
We give Thee thanks for all Thy mercies, seen and unseen.
For eternal life, for the heavenly joys of the Kingdom which is to be.
Grant mercy to us who sing Thy praise, both now and in the time to come.
Glory to Thee, O God, from age to age.
